Careers

It is a yard job. It is also a climate job.

Nobody here writes sustainability reports for a living. People weld cages, run a wash line, grade containers and drive trucks — and the aggregate effect is that roughly a million containers did not get manufactured a second time. If you would rather do that than talk about it, there is probably a role here.

Open roles

What we are hiring for.

Full time · Yard

Wash line operator

Run the nine-station line: intake grading, residue evacuation, caustic and steam cycles, lamp inspection and pressure testing. Training provided; the judgement about what passes and what does not is the skill, and it takes about six months to build.

Full time · Shop

Cage shop fabricator

MIG welding on galvanised tube, straightening jig work, deck replacement and pallet repair. This is the role that decides our diversion rate. Experienced welders will be productive on day one.

Full time · Regional

CDL driver, Class A

Regional runs across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia. Van and flatbed. Home most nights. Load planning and on-site sorting are part of the job, not an afterthought.

Full time · Yard

Container grader

Assess inbound containers against the reuse ladder, record prior contents, photograph plates and route each unit correctly. Detail-oriented work with real consequences downstream.

Full time · Office

Inside sales & quoting

Answer enquiries, scope jobs, build quotes across purchase, wash, freight and reclaim. Requires the willingness to tell a customer they need less than they asked for.

Full time · Entry level

Yard hand

Forklift, staging, wrapping, loading and general yard work. The route most of our operators and graders came in through.

What we offer

The honest list

  • Full-time hours with genuine overtime, not permanent short shifts
  • Training on equipment you will not have used before
  • Regional driving that gets you home most nights
  • A small operation where the person deciding is standing next to you
  • Work whose environmental value is measurable rather than asserted
What we expect

The other honest list

  • Turning up, on time, in Cleveland weather
  • Care with grading — a bad call downstream costs a container
  • Saying when something is wrong rather than passing it along the line
  • Basic comfort around forklifts, straps and heavy loads
  • Willingness to learn the reuse ladder and actually apply it
Questions

Working here, answered.

01How do I apply?
Through the form on this page. Put the role in the product type field, your availability in the message, and we will reply by email. There is no phone number and no applicant portal — a paragraph about what you have done is worth more to us than a formatted resume.
02Do I need experience with IBC totes?
No. Almost nobody arrives with it. Welding, forklift and CDL experience transfer directly; the container-specific knowledge is taught on the yard and takes a few months.
03What is the work actually like?
Physical, wet in places, warm near the steam finish and cold in a Cleveland January. It is also visibly useful work — you can point at a stack of containers that would otherwise have been buried.
04Do you hire seasonally?
Spring and early summer are our busiest period as growers and contractors buy in. We take on temporary yard help most years and several permanent staff started that way.
