Six grades of container, one honest recommendation.
We stock everything from a rinsed used tote to a brand-new stainless vessel. The useful part is not the list — it is knowing which one your cargo actually needs, and which one is a waste of your money.

Not sure which grade you need?
Describe the cargo and the duty cycle. We will tell you the cheapest grade that will actually work — which is often not the one people ask for.
The grade table, without the sales gloss.
Every row below is a real trade-off between cost, condition and what you are legally allowed to put in it.
| Grade | Best for | Inner bottle | Cage & pallet | UN rating | Food safe |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rebottled | Near-new performance without a new cage | Brand new | Reclaimed, inspected, straightened | Available | Available on request |

| Used as-is | Water, brine, dust control, storage | Original, rinsed, graded A/B/C | Reclaimed, serviceable | Plate may be expired | No |
| Food grade | Edible and potable cargo | Single-trip, documented | Reclaimed or new | Usually current | Yes, with paperwork |

Rebottled IBC totes
A brand-new blow-moulded bottle in a reclaimed, straightened cage. The sweet spot for anyone who wants new-bottle cleanliness without paying the carbon or the cash price of a new cage.
Open →Reconditioned IBC totes
Original bottle, washed through caustic and steam, pressure tested, new gaskets and valve. The default choice for chemical blenders, lubricant packers and coatings plants.
Open →Used as-is IBC totes
Rinsed and graded A, B or C with the flaws described honestly. The most sustainable container on the site because almost nothing was done to it.
Open →Food grade IBC totes
Single-trip containers that carried edible or potable cargo, kept segregated from industrial stock with prior-contents documentation attached.
Open →New IBC totes
Virgin bottle, new cage, current UN plate. We stock them because sometimes an auditor, a first fill or a customer spec genuinely requires it.
Open →Stainless steel IBCs
304 and 316L vessels for solvents, aromatics, hot fills and anything that would craze a polyethylene bottle. Effectively unlimited service life.
Open →Accessories & parts
Butterfly valves, camlock adapters, buttress fittings, EPDM and Viton gaskets, 6-inch lids, cage bars, pallets and dust caps.
Open →Upcycled builds
Rain harvesting arrays, aquaponics sumps, jobsite wash bays, dust suppression skids and planter walls — totes with a third career.
Open →Size & spec reference
Dimensions, tare weights, gross ratings, cube, pallet types and fitting sizes for every format we stock.
Open →Before you place the order.

Which grade for which cargo.
The fastest route to the right container is to start from the fluid rather than from the price.
| Cargo | Recommended | Acceptable | Never | Because |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Potable water | Food grade | New | Any used industrial | Absorbed chemistry does not wash out |
| Edible liquids | Food grade | New | Any used industrial | Documentation is the qualifying test |
| Irrigation, edible crops | Food grade | New | Used industrial | Water contacts the produce |
| Lubricants and oils | Reconditioned | Rebottled | — | Viton seals; hot caustic on return |
| Coatings and resins | Reconditioned | Rebottled | — | Wash promptly; cured product is terminal |
| Water treatment chemistry | Reconditioned | Used B | — | EPDM seals, straightforward wash |
| Liquid fertiliser | Used B | Reconditioned | — | Fill to weight at 10.7 lb/gal |
| Brine and de-icer | Used B | Used C | — | Steel cage; drain before a freeze |
| Dust suppression | Used C | Used B | — | Cosmetics are irrelevant |
| Aromatic solvents | Stainless | — | Any polyethylene | Crazing within months |
| Chlorinated solvents | Stainless | — | Any polyethylene | Rapid chemical attack |
| Hot fills above 60 C | Stainless | — | Any polyethylene | Softening and permanent set |
| Regulated hazmat | Reconditioned + recert | Rebottled + recert | Illegible plate | Valid marking and current test required |
What to send us, and what happens to it.
Five details that produce a firm price
- The fluid. Prior contents if you are selling, next contents if you are buying. It decides grade, wash cycle, gasket and plate requirement in one go.
- A rough count. Exact is not needed — we reconcile on collection or delivery and price against the real number.
- Postal code. Freight is the largest variable on small orders and the smallest on large ones. A ZIP turns a range into a number.
- Your lowest vertical clearance. Door, rack beam, mezzanine. One line prevents the most common rejected delivery in this trade.
- Your dates, and how firm they are. Flexibility is what lets an order ride a scheduled lane instead of booking a truck.
What ships with the containers
- A valve, an outlet cap and a fill lid on every unit unless you specify otherwise.
- New gaskets on anything reconditioned or rebottled, matched to the fluid you named.
- A wash certificate per unit for reconditioned stock: prior contents, cycle, date, operator.
- A pressure test result — sealed 3 psi with a hold — on every washed or rebottled unit.
- A leakproofness record and re-marking where the container returns to regulated service.
- A prior-contents record on all food-grade stock, plus our segregation statement.
- A bill of lading with counts split by grade.
- A diversion statement on request, for sustainability reporting.
